Template:String-handling templates/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:String-handling templates.
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original Template page.

Add {{String-handling templates}} to the bottom of a documentation page of a template listed in the navbox.

Template:Collapsible sections option This template's initial visibility currently defaults to expanded, meaning that it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

{{String-handling templates|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
{{String-handling templates|state=autocollapse}} will show the template autocollapsed, i.e. if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar, but if not, it is fully visible.
